| Our Mission Statement This group is for people who love being outside and wish to instill love, admiration and respect for the natural world through their art with the hopes of inspiring the desire to conserve and develop sustainably, so that future generations can enjoy the same wild places we know and love. Hear Ye, Hear Ye, These Are The Rules As much as I don’t like coming up with a list of ‘dos’ and ‘do nots’, they are sometimes a necessity. The following has been prepared for your reading pleasure, make sure you review and remember them. Suggestions are welcome!  When you join our group, please also watch us! The more you give the more you get. All work submitted must be nature-related. Any medium is accepted – please read the gallery folder descriptions listed below and submit to the correct folder. No mature content. Please submit only your best works, as what you display here is meant to draw people to your own gallery. Remember, quality over quantity! Submission limit is one (1) per week. This is to encourage people to chose quality works to display, instead of submitting everything under the sun. (Submission limit may go up again when I determine whether I can keep on top of it or not with limited summer internet.) When suggesting favourites, any self promotions will be declined. Be honest. If the subject in your photograph was in a zoo or on a farm, don’t try to pass it off in the wildlife category, or put photo manipulations in photography.Gallery Folder Definitions The titles may be obvious, but please read through the following definitions so that you are sure your submissions are going in the correct place. Incorrect submissions, or those that are suspicious of being misrepresented (photo manipulations in photography, exotic animals in wildlife,) will be questioned or declined. Featured The winners' circle! This is the folder where winners of club contests will go. Members are unable to submit here. Wild Animals This gallery is for photographs of all animals and insects, whether in the forest or city, that are considered wild or not captive. Feral dogs and cats go in domestic and zoo, as do lions in captivity. Domestic and Zoo This gallery is for photographs of all animals that we may consider companion animals, livestock or are kept in a zoo or game park. ‘Scapes and Flora All land/water/skyscape photographs go here, including the night sky. Photos of trees, leaves and flowers also go here. If there is a bug on the flower, it goes in Wild Animals. People and Portraits All photographs of people in nature can be submitted here. Traditional All traditional media goes here including drawings, paintings, sculptures and crafts. Digital All digital paintings and drawings go here, as well as emotes and icons. Photo manipulations go in their own folder. Photo Manipulations When post processing goes beyond what can sometimes be described as ‘darkroom editing’, and a major change in colour or composition has been made to the photo. Literature All written works can be submitted here, including poetry, short stories and non fictional accounts. Contests Entries for current contests can be submitted here. Thank you!
